Health and Safety Procedures Against Coronavirus

Masks

By California law, all hair stylists and their customers must wear a mask when at appointments. Please wear a mask when visiting my salon.

Symptoms

If you are experiencing any coronavirus-related symptoms, please reschedule your appointment and do not visit the salon.

Disinfection

I perform a three-step disinfection process between every single appointment:

  1. Clean: I wash all instruments and surfaces with soap and water.

  2. Disinfect: I wipe down all instruments and surfaces with hydrogen peroxide.

  3. Sanitize: I am COVID-19 barbicide certified. I sanitize with barbicide, which sits for ten minutes and then is wiped down.

I perform this sterilization process for all surfaces, cutting tools, clippers, and shears,. No one instrument or cape is used on another client until it’s sanitized. I will be getting a UV sterilization light to aid in the sanitization process.

Social Distancing

Per California law, the social distancing rules are as follows:

  • If a client arrives with family, the client and their family may enter.

  • If a client arrives with friends, only the client may enter the salon space, no friends.

I have a private suite with no waiting area.

  • When you arrive for an appointment, please wait in your car and text me. I will come to bring you from your car to my suite.

Hand Washing and Hand Sanitizer

I provide hand sanitizer at my salon. The CDC recommends that if you have not been able to wash your hands before going out, that you use hand sanitizer. There are public restrooms in the facilities where you can wash your hands.

Beverages

I am not allowed to serve any food or drinks that I make, but I can serve sealed beverages such as soda, bottled water, etc. Let me know what drinks you want me to provide! Once COVID-19 precautions are let up, I will be providing coffee.
